Always meant to be

Molly Kidd Studio for Everhem embodies our shared love of the quiet details that make a room feel finished. With Molly, a window is never an afterthought. She considers each layer and texture - the weight of a drape, a tassel catching the light, each detail made to be like it was always there.

“So much of the way I design is about creating rooms that feel collected rather than decorated. There might be an antique from France next to something made by a local artisan, a piece that's been inherited beside something completely new. I wanted the window treatments to have that same sense of history.”

“More than anything, I wanted it to be a collection that could belong in many different kinds of homes and become more personal with time.”

Creme de la creme

"I think of the embellishments like jewelry for the window. You don't need them, which is exactly why I love them.

A little piping can give a shade a beautiful finished edge. A tieback changes the way a drapery falls. A tassel adds just enough weight, movement, and personality.

They're small details, and I think those are often the things that make a room feel the most personal."
